MathX 2.2 is now available

Today, we've released MathX 2.2. It's a major update that brings three new operations. This free update is available on the App Store.

Complex Numbers

First and foremost in this release is the addition of a new section: Complex Numbers.

This new section includes two operations:

  • Complex Numbers Calculator: do basic mathematical operations with complex numbers such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Complex Numbers Converter: convert complex numbers in polar form to rectangular and trigonometric forms, rectangular form to polar and trigonometric forms, and trigonometric form to polar and rectangular forms. There's also a graph which shows you the meaning of what you've found.

Generalized Pythagorean Theorem

In the meantime, we've also added the generalization of the Pythagorean Theorem. You can use Generalized Pythagorean Theorem to find the missing lengths and angles of a triangle.

Launching directly into a specific view

MathX 2.2 improves its automation capabilities. You can now launch directly into a specific view. Here's a sample workflow to quickly launch your favorite operations from the Notification Center.
